USAID Cuts

On January 20, the president signed an executive order pausing all USAID contracts and programs for 90 days in order to conduct a "review." Since then, the administration has ended 90% of those assistance programs, including many that provide life-saving aid, despite claims that they would be protected. Of those funds, $28.9B is paid out to American businesses.
